{Q} How does Research for Good work?

{A} Research for Good is an online market research sample company. We partner with non-profit organizations and invite their volunteers and donors to take surveys. In exchange for your time spent participating in market research surveys, we will make a donation back to the non-profit organization with which you are affiliated.

{Q} How can I join?

{A} Currently Research for Good membership is by invitation only. Members are invited by a non-profit organization that they are passionate about (by email, on the charity’s website, Facebook page, etc). If you have not yet received an invitation from an organization you are interested in supporting, please check out their website. If they are not yet affiliated with Research for Good, you’re welcome to encourage them to check us out, and hopefully an invitation will be on its way soon!

{Q} What do I earn for completing surveys?

{A} As a thank you for giving your time to provide thoughtful answers to our market research surveys, we will make a donation to the charity through which you were invited to join Research for Good. For example, if you are invited to join the Research for Good panel by the Red Cross, each time you complete a survey or research opportunity, a donation will be made along with all other Red Cross supporters’ efforts and allocated to that organization. We make bulk donations to all of our non-profit partners on a quarterly basis via our partnership with Network for Good (www.networkforgood.org)

{Q} How much time do I have to commit to Research for Good?

{A} You can choose to participate as often as you would like, as long as we have survey opportunities available which match your profile. When you complete your profile, you can indicate to us how often you would like to be contacted with research opportunities. Please keep in mind that we are always working to provide as many earning opportunities to you as we can, though you may not always qualify for every opportunity presented. Often, market researchers are looking for a specific demographic group or someone who meets a specific list of criteria. If you do not qualify for a survey opportunity, please come back and try again.

{Q} How often can I participate?

{A} We do not place limits on the frequency with which you can participate in survey opportunities. If you would like to receive fewer survey invitations, please revise your contact frequency preferences in your profile.

To ensure that you’re invited to as many relevant surveys as we have available, please make sure that your profile is complete and accurate. This will help us target survey invitations to you which match your interests.

{Q} I live outside of the US & Canada – can I still participate?

{A} Yes, soon! At this time we are only offering surveys in English and only for residents of the United States, but our researchers will be interested in surveying people from other countries from time to time. You will let us know where you live when you sign up, so we can be sure to offer you surveys based on your country of residence.

{A} All of the profile information you provide to Research for Good is kept confidential. This information is used only for targeting you with relevant survey opportunities and to help us understand the aggregate composition of the panel. We do not disclose personally identifiable information to any of our partners.

Should the need arise to share some of your information for the purposes of understanding survey results in more detail, we will ask for your permission to provide such details and will not do so without your consent.

{Q} What happens to the information I provide when I take a survey?

{A}The information you provide when you take a survey is used to better understand the interests, preferences and brand awareness of a group of people representing the researcher’s intended audience. No personally identifiable information is shared, sold or otherwise made available to anyone outside of Research for Good.

{Q} Why don’t I qualify for some of the survey’s I’m invited to?

{A} Market Researchers are often interested in better understanding a specific target audience. This target audience varies from study to study, so you will not always qualify for every survey opportunity we have available. Please keep in mind that we’re always expanding our survey offerings, to boost the number of available survey opportunities available to you. Also, in order to improve the number of survey invites you receive which match your demographics and interests, please make sure that your Research for Good profile is complete and up to date.

{Q} What can I do to improve my chances of qualifying?

{A} The best way to ensure that we are able to target relevant survey invitations to you is to make sure your profile is complete and kept up to date. Please also make sure that you answer all questions honestly and thoughtfully.

{Q} I want to participate in more surveys, how can I do more?

{A} We are working hard to build our survey inventory and thank you for your willingness to participate. If there are no survey opportunities for you at this time, keep an eye out for emails from Research for Good alerting you to new survey opportunities in the weeks ahead.

Also, encourage your friends and family to join Research for Good if they are invited as well. The more members we have, the more surveys we can offer.
